How the nose and chin are planned together

Before surgery, Dr. Franco studies your profile and the relationship between your nose and your chin. He explains what the rhinoplasty will change and how much projection the implant should add. The plan is written to your face, not copied from a template. Your written quote follows that plan.

The procedure, step by step

The operation is done under general anesthesia and usually takes a few hours. The surgeon reshapes the nose, then places the implant over the chin bone through a small incision under the chin or inside the mouth. Both areas are closed carefully and a nasal splint is applied. You go home the same day or stay overnight, depending on your case.

Recovery

Expect a nasal splint for about a week, swelling around the nose and eyes, and some tightness at the chin. Bruising settles over the first week or two. Most people return to normal social activities in a week or two, and the final result shows over the following months. You sleep with your head raised and avoid heavy effort early on.
